THE CHURCH HAS LEFT THE BUILDING" - Mission Week - June 21-27 During this week, we as a church will focus on outreach to our local community of Zachary. We will engage the community through construction projects (for needy and deserving people), a sports clinic, a block party, Sunday School projects, and grocery bag evangelism. In addition, we will commit to continuous prayer throughout the week.
TOLEDO BEND RESORT MINISTRY CHILDREN'S MISSION TRIP - July 26-31 Mission Teams will provide manpower for Day Camps (Fun in the Son Clubs), VBS for children through adult ages, visitation for promotion of ministry activities, children's entertainment, family evening programs, church services, and the recreational trailer ministry for residents who live at the marina, in the housing projects and residential areas around the lake.
INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL MISSION TRIP - October 23-29 - Nicaragua The medical mission trip goal is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the people. All who attend the clinics first hear the presentation of the Gospel. They are then seen by doctors and nurses and provided medical care and medications. The children are taught Bible stories and participate in Bible-learning activites. We also try to provide toiletry articles to each individual.
OUR YOUTH ON MISSION - SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE - SPRING EMPHASIS Starting in February 2010, the youth will be raising money to provide an ultrasound machine for a
Caring to Love Pregnancy Center.

Books for the Border (TM) provides "libraries" for families living in poverty along the Rio Grande River border in Texas. The libraries consist of a modest shelf unit which contains a Bible, a Spanish-English dictionary and an assortment of children's books. The books and shelf units are donated items provided to families. We hope to send a team to assist this ministry later in the year.
CHRIST'S COMMUNITY CHURCH CONSTRUCTION - DENHAM SPRINGS, LA Construction is scheduled to begin on this new church facility in May 2010, and we hope to partner with them through Saturday (or possibly weekday) trips.
