Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is offered for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. It takes place in a 10 week season beginning in December and ending in February.
Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants.
Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a "win at all costs" mentality associated with today's sports world.
Registration for the 2011-2012 Upward season is now closed.
Additional forms are usually available in the church office. Early registration fees are $70 for Basketball and $60 for Cheerleading - after early registration the fees are $80 for Basketball and $70 for Cheerleading. Fees are due at time of registration.
