GriefShare Classes
No matter what the circumstances, grief recovery is a painful process. We understand how deeply grief and loss hurt people and families, and we want you to know about our GriefShare group. It can be a place where you can begin putting your life back together again.
GriefShare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It’s a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you’ll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time.
GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief and recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “When Your Dreams Fall Apart,” “The Seasons of Grief,” “Emotions of Grief,” “When Your Spouse Dies,” “Your Family and Grief” and “Growing Through Grief.”
GriefShare group will meet every Wednesday night from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Education Building, Room #240, beginning August 27 through November 19. You may begin attending the GriefShare group at any week of the session.
There is a small workbook fee to cover the cost of the book. If the cost is a concern, scholarships are available. Call the church office at 654-2755 to reserve your place in the class. You can start at any of the sessions. On-Line information about this course is available here.
