Christmas Gatherings Give the People in Your Life the Greatest Gift this Christmas
Christmas is a wonderful season to share Christ's message in a meaningful way. People's hearts are unusually open and warm to spiritual thoughts and to being together. A "Christmas Gathering" is a holiday party, a get-together of ladies (neighbors or co-workers or mothers from your child's extracurricular activity or a social group, i.e., Red Hatters, Pokeno) in an individual's home during the first two weeks of December (you choose when). The party features holiday food, spontaneous sharing of Christmas traditions, a brief, non-threatening talk on the meaning of Christmas and an opportunity to receive Christ. It's like the "Ladies Luncheon" moved to your home. Ask a friend to co-host it with you.

Christmas Gathering Training - Sunday, November 9, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. ED #210 (upstairs in the small atrium behind the sanctuary)
We are seeking ladies who will host a Christmas Gathering in their home and ladies who will speak at the Christmas Gatherings. We would like to see a home in each neighborhood host a party.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

10:00 a.m. - Fellowship, coffee ** 11:00 a.m. - Meeting (lunch following, $3)
This month's program features Jay Grymes, Chief Meteorologist with WAFB-TV, Channel 9. He will speak on "Global Warming." He was scheduled to speak last month but had a conflict.

Join in the "Chickenfoot" game or bring your own game and friends and enjoy the fellowship.
