July Mission Focus
Our South Texas mission trip last year provided 1,400 Christmas Stockings for children ages 3-12 years old. Our goal for this year is to fill 1,400 Christmas Stockings for children on both sides of the border. The local pastors pick up these stockings and distribute them to the children in their churches and in the area. For many of these children, this is their only Christmas gift. In each stocking kids find the story of Christ’s birth. Help us bless these children with your LifeGroup’s financial donation or assigned item donation (we need lots of each item).
Collection boxes will be in the Mission Center, Large Atrium, FLC.

Honduras Mission Trip, July 19-25
This trip is in partnership with BMDMI - a medical mission-minded group. Though we do need medical professionals to go, there are plenty non-medical needs on this trip too. Call the church office to register. [225-654-2755]
South Texas Mission Trip, October 18-25
This is a family friendly mission trip with many parts. Registration will open soon. Plan to come to an informational meeting for details or contact Debbi Mashaw.
Each year we host Shoebox Gift Drop offs. If you would like to volunteer to help, contact Sandy Stromeyer via the church office [654-2755]. If you would like to participate by making a gift box, details are located at the OCC display near our Missions Center.
