This Community Service Day is a small part of how we at First Zachary are seeking to fulfill our biblical calling where we live, right here in the heart of Zachary, Louisiana, showing love to for our community. FBCZ will partner with NAMB’s Send Relief to serve hurting communities in Monroe, LA. Projects may include light construction, painting, landscaping, hosting neighborhood grill walks and/or block parties. In partnership with the Louisiana Baptist Convention and the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Association and their local churches.

Students - Spend your fall break with us MissionLab for a life-changing, action-packed week where you will grow spiritually, do hands-on ministry, and live on mission in the city of New Orleans. MissionLab is based at NOBTS.

Beach Reach Mission Trip
Kenai, Alaska
Through simple acts of kindness and connection, we will engage the public through servant evangelism and heartfelt presence at this year’s Salmon Frenzy. Come ready to share the love of Christ through your actions, your words, and your willingness to serve wherever needed. Ways we serve include: kids clubs & bounce houses, prayer, traffic control, trash pick-up, serving free hot dogs, water, and hot cocoa.

South Texas Mission Trip
McAllen, Texas
This is a family friendly mission trip with many ways to serve: Construction Projects, Christmas Stocking Project, Beds, Books, and Bookshelves Project, Bless the Border Patrol. Even if you cannot go with us, there are ways to serve before we go by helping us prepare for the mission projects.

This mission trip for adults and teens (must be accompanied by a parent) will address immediate medical needs, and in partnership with local churches, provide The Answer to spiritual needs through door to door evangelism and other ministry projects. Based at the Commissioned International compound in Guaimaca.

Scholarship Fund
The Colvin Mission Fund was developed in honor of Dr. Les Colvin’s years of service at FBCZ. Inspired by his example and an irrepressible desire to enable more church members to Geaux with us, this scholarship fund lessens financial barriers to serving through FBCZ’s mission trips.
