The Upward Sports season typically begins each winter with Basketball and Cheerleading registration beginning in early October and evaluations in early November. Children in K through 6th Grade are eligible to participate. Practices are typically scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the Family Life Center. Games are also in the Family Life Center and are typically held on Saturdays beginning in January.

Registration after Oct 30 must be done in person at the church office.
Late registration fee is $10.
Practices begin week of
November 30, 2026.
Practices usually occur on
Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays.
Each team practices 1 night per week.
Games begin Jan 16, 2027 & occur each Saturday until the season ends on Feb 20, 2027.
Awards Ceremony details will be announced through team coaches. Additional details about times and dates will also be provided by team coaches.
Each child who would like to play basketball must attend an Evaluation & Orientation in the Family Life Center [gym]:
